An unidentified male adult has succumbed to bullet wounds following a shooting Monday morning in Kawempe.

According to Police, the deceased waswas fatally wounded by a police patrol team in Kawempe Police Division after he allegedly broke into Boss Mode Shoppers Supermarket with another suspect when they were intercepted by the police.

One suspect fled after injuring an officer, and the other was fatally wounded, Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said in a statement Monday.

“The incident is under investigations. The body was taken to City Mortuary Mulago, and more details will be provided as they become available,” he added.
