Kidnap: Casual laborer disappears with boss’ school-going children

The Territorial Police in Nakaseke District is investigating a case of Kidnap of two female juveniles and theft of a motorcycle reg. no. UFB 009B (Bajaj Boxer, red in colour).
The incident occurred today, Friday, March 1, 2024, at 10:00 am in Kirangazi village, Ngoma Sub county, Nakaseke District.
The victims have been identified as Tusingwire Phionah, 4 and Tarindeka Patience, 5. They are all pupils at Apex Model Primary School.
Regional Police Spokesman Sam Twiineamaziima confirmed the incident.
Preliminary information indicates that at about 7 am, while at home in Kirangazi village, Sande, a worker, carried the children as usual and took them to school on a motorcycle with a view of coming back, but all in vain. So, the complainant, Scovia Kayesu, decided to send her elder son, Muhoozi, to check at the school. Unfortunately he didn’t find children at the school and their worker also. He informed the complainant, who also reported the matter to Kirangazi Police Station. Upon police receiving the information, they responded in time. A case of Kidnap and theft of motorcycle was registered.
Twiineamaziima says that the search for the victims and the motorcycle is ongoing.
