A couple in Kyanja in the neighborhood of Kampala are slowly returning to their senses, after the child went missing days ago.

The school-going child (name withheld) went missing from School.

However, he was picked by the maid. They did not return home.

As a result, a search intensified, with calls for the arrest of the maid.

On Wednesday evening, the child’s mother, Sheena Mbiire, reported that they had found the child in Rukungiri. The maid hails from Rukungiri. 

Mbiire does not reveal why her maid kidnapped their child.

However, previous cases have shown that maids either disappear with their boss’ children over pay or to show their boyfriends that they have children.
