Late Reporting to work: LC3 Chairman padlocks sub county offices, takes keys to Police Station

The Local Council III Chairperson of Burunga Sub County in Kazo district this morning padlocked Sub County offices over late reporting to work by his staff.
According to an eyewitness, Caroline Katusiime, Samuel Rumari locked the offices and took the key to Burunga Police Station from where the civil servants are expected to pick them.
At the Police, the civil servants are also expected to sign in the reporting book to confirm that indeed, they reported for work.
By press time, Burunga Sub County offices remained closed.
