Lille defender Leny Yoro has agreed to join Manchester United in a deal rising to €70million (£58.7m)
United had a €62m (£52m) offer accepted by Lille last week and the 18-year-old has decided to join the club, despite interest from Real Madrid.
Yoro, 18, is poised to become United’s second signing of the summer after Joshua Zirkzee arrived from Bologna in a £36.5m move.
The deal is set to take United’s spending up to £95.2m for the summer, with more incomings anticipated as they look to sell several squad members.
United are open to signing up to three centre backs as part of a drastic overhaul of their defence. The club have verbally agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt and had two bids rejected by Everton for Jarrad Branthwaite.
