Finance Trust Bank Limited has issued a public alert regarding Mr. Martin Esike, a former employee who has allegedly absconded from duty and is facing criminal charges of theft.
In a statement released by the bank’s management, Mr. Esike is wanted in connection with two police cases — SD REF: 160/23/06/2025 and 81/29/05/2025 — both related to theft allegations.
The bank stated that Mr. Esike is no longer authorized to conduct any transactions or business on behalf of Finance Trust Bank in any capacity.
Members of the public with information on his whereabouts have been urged to contact the bank through its toll-free lines — 0800 220 500 and 0800 330 500.
The bank further called on Mr. Esike to report immediately to its Head Office on Plot 228, Lumumba Avenue, Kampala.
Finance Trust Bank emphasized that the notice was necessary to protect its customers, the public, and the institution’s integrity.
