Versatile news reporter Joyce Diana Nakato has left NTV Uganda after 8 years.
Nakato reports both in Luganda and English. Touching features define her craft.
However, she bows out on the Serena-based station.
Nakato holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Communication from Makerere University.
“As I move into the next chapter of my professional journey, I leave behind a formidable team, working to continue changing the media landscape. It has been my greatest honor to have been part of this journey,” said Nakato in a post on X on Friday. It was her last day working with NTV Uganda.
She quits in the same week as anchor and reporter Andrew Kyamagero. Kyamagero left for studies abroad.
NTV Uganda has lost a number of news reporters recently. These are Frank Walusimbi, Faridah Nakazibwe, Olivia Komugisha, Francis Jjingo, John Cliff Wamala and Ali Mivule, among others.
