KCCA FC front man Mohammad Shaban is in things.
Shaban is expected to put pen to paper in a new two-year deal to remain on the Lugogo-based side.
Sources say that the deal is worth Shs 110 as a sign-on fee and Shs 6 million as a monthly salary.
According to football agent Ronnie Santos Mwine, Shs 80 million will be paid in cash, while Shs 30 million will be paid after 6 months.
Sources add that Shaban wanted Shs 200 million as a sign-on fee.
An independent inquiry, however, indicates that Shaban may not be the highest paid Ugandan player. The duo of Allan Okello and Yunus Ssentamu of Vipers SC reportedly earn more than Shs 6 million monthly.
