Subscribers of MTN Uganda are grappling with calls going to strangers.
Over four subscribers have officially complained.
In response, MTN Uganda said:
“Yello Michael! Sorry about that. Kindly note that there is an interference with the network, hence causing cross talks. Kindly bear with us as it is being restored. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Regards
Katagaya argues that MTN Uganda should instead be apologizing.
“Has MTN admitted to a glitch that has exposed my private conversations to strangers? Some of these have cost me time, business, and now I take every phone call with fear that someone else might be eavesdropping! Well, I’ve had the fears before but now it’s confirmed. Should they get away with just an apology?”
