President Yoweri Museveni has appointed former Principal Press Secretary – PPS – Linda Nabusayi Wamboka as the Presidential Advisor on Media.

While clarifying on the list making rounds on social media Tuesday evening, Deputy Press Secretary, Faruk Kirunda said: “I wish to clarify that there is no new list of Presidential Advisors issued as is circulating on social media.”

The only new appointment is of Ms. Linda Nabusayi Wamboka, who has been appointed Presidential Advisor on Media, Kirunda added.

Wamboka retired from the State House service some time last year.
