PROFILE: Over the years, Ronald Kagame channeled his love, energy, and resources into celebrating Christmas with street children. Forget that he was on the streets before (after all, others forget that they were once there). This is not to say that he has a lot of money. However, with the support of friends like Geofrey Mugisha, Christmas with the street children has become a tradition in the areas of Nansana and its neighborhoods. This year was not any different.

Over 70 street children had a meal to hold on to for the next year. This, coupled with drinks and stories of the cold.
“For 8 consecutive years, we have been with you. We’ve walked this journey together, every single year, non-stop. Every year, we’ve chosen you above everything and anything. Once again, this year, we chose you,” says Ronald Kagame. “Amidst the challenges, you know we have not given up on you. When we can’t carry this anymore, help carry it forward without us.”
“We have been there (street children) before. It is just an act of sharing. We have been doing this over the years, and we shall continue to do so,” adds Kagame.
