RIP Apolot Stella
Ngora District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Stella Apolot Isodo, has died.
Apolot, who served in the current Parliament (11th) on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket, reportedly passed away after a short illness.
Speaker of Parliament Anita Among confirmed the news in a brief statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).
“With a heavy heart, I announce the unfortunate death of our colleague and sister Hon. Apolot Stella Isodo, the Woman Member of Parliament for Ngora District, after a short illness,” Among wrote.
She extended condolences to the bereaved family, Members of Parliament, the people of Ngora, the FDC fraternity, and friends of the late legislator.
“Sincere condolences to her family, colleagues in Parliament, the people of Ngora, the @FDCOfficial1 fraternity, and all her friends. Send-off arrangements will be communicated later,” she added.
Details surrounding her illness and death have not yet been disclosed.
