The meeting of the NRM Caucus in the 11th Parliament, sitting at Kololo this afternoon received and considered the resolutions of the NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) of July 8, 2022.
The resolution was that all NRM representatives in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) be given another term.
Against the above background, the Caucus agreed thus:
NRM party Chairman and President, Yoweri Museveni, who also attended the meeting agreed to the decision of the Caucus.
“I concur we have set a standard of giving a second chance to our representatives and we must democratically maintain it,” the President said shortly after the meeting. “In the same spirit, I call for cohesion amongst them, disharmony undermines effectiveness.”
