The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has responded to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba whom in a tweet said he does not believe in the ruling party.

“…I certainly do not believe in NRM. In Marxist terms it is probably the most reactionary organisation in the country,” part of Gen. Muhoozi’s tweet reads.

However, appearing on the NBS TV political talkshow at the weekend, the party’s Manager for Communication, Rogers Mulindwa said: “When Muhoozi says he doesn’t believe in the NRM, he is right. He is a serving officer and is not supposed to be partisan.”
