NTV journalist reports attack on security personnel, two reported dead
A journalist with NTV Uganda reports that there has just been an attack on security personnel.
Hebert Kamoga is based in Luweero and reports thus: “Kapeeka town in Nakaseke District is on fire, assailants have attack security officers there and its alleged that two officers are shot dead. The town is currently on fire.”
While we are yet to verify this, there has been recent attacks on Police and UPDF installations in Busika, Nakulabye, Mbale, and in Jinja. In these attacks, nearly 5 officers died and guns stolen.
