The African Development Bank has given the Ugandan government US$ 500, 000 grant, the Gazette has learnt.
The grant, sources say, is to support capacity development of 200 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises along the 10 EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) districts, and is going to be implemented by the Stanbic Business Incubator in partnership with Solid Rock Life and Business, Living Earth Uganda and Conexus Oil and gas.
Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) Executive Director Ernest Rubondo confirmed this development during a media engagement in Kampala on Tuesday.
Rubondo said “PAU will supervise implementation of this project which will last two years”
