Old Kampala Police Station has registered a case or armed robbery at Fortbet in Lugala in Rubaga Division in Kampala.

The police say that On February 12th, 2023, an aggravated robbery took place in Old Kampala, where two armed assailants stole approximately 2.1 million shillings from FORTBET LUGALA M2.

“The suspects fled the scene on a motorcycle, and police inquiries are ongoing,” Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the incident.

Owoyesigyire appealed to proprietors of betting companies to improve security measures like hiring guards and panic buttons to assist police response in such incidents.
