Parliament, Tayebwa, Balam contribute towards Gen. Katumba’s church project

Parliament of Uganda, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and events guru Balam Byarugahare have contributed towards the construction of St. Mark Kikandwa Church of Uganda in Mukono district.

The project is Works Minister Gen. Katumba Wamala’s thank you after he survived assassination on June 1, 2021. His daughter and driver died in the brutal attack.

During the ground breaking yesterday, Tayebwa handed over Speaker Anita Among’s contribution worth US$ 10, 000. He also made a personal contribution of Shs 10 million. Balam, too, made a contribution of Shs 10 million, credited to the Hardware World account.

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja represented President Yoweri Museveni at the thanksgiving ceremony.
