Senior police officers currently on course at Police Senior Command and Staff College, Bwebajja Thursday morning graced the inaugural Bwebajja Fitness Run 2021.

The 10 kilometre run was aimed at freshening up the officers outside of books.

The College Commandant, Commissioner of Police (CP) Moses Kafeero was the Chief Runner.

Speaking after the run, the Commandant commended the students for being disciplined and having vision for the development of this country.

“I want to thank you for coming up with this run, which makes you physically fit. You know the vision 2040 for Uganda talks about having a healthy nation, so you have a vision for the development of this country,” CP Kafeero said.  

CP Kafeero pledged that the event will be marked annually by students who will be attending any course at the College.

The fitness Run was organised by students of Senior Command and Staff Course at Bwebaja.

SP Tugume Ezra the Chief organiser, thanked all the participants who took part in the event.
