Unfortunately, he was overpowered by the strong waves and drowned. His nephew returned home after a long wait and informed his father, identified as Martin.

“The matter is now being investigated to establish the culprits behind the opening of the beach, since it is a restricted area under the Ministry of Health guidelines on COVID-19,” Owoyesigyire said adding, “This includes the area territorial commanders who happen to have exhibited unprofessional behavior.”
“The public should know that all beaches are still restricted and we calls for strict adherence,” Owoyesigyire noted.
