Prayer warrior SSP Claire Nabakka Named Deputy Police Spokesperson
By Marvin Ocol
The Inspector General of Police, Martins Okoth Ochola, has appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Claire Nabakka as the deputy Police Spokesperson.
SSP Nabakka is among the 85 senior officers moved in transfers three days ago.
She replaces ACP Polly Namaye who is in South Sudan with the United Nations Mission (UNMIS).
SSP Nabakka who now moves from the Senior Command and Staff College, Bwebajja after serving there for long, to the Police headquarters in Naguru to deputize CP Fred Enanga, is a prayer warrior (a term used by many evangelical and other Christians to refer to anyone who is committed to praying for others).
While still at Bwebajja, she was known for leading opening and closing prayers during Police Functions at the College. Her prayers stretch above 30 minutes.
One time, she prayed and the IGP joked that she had instead delivered a sermon.
