Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has condoled with his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni, the Government and Ugandans following the death of the country’s Central Bank Governor Emmanuel Tumusiime-Mutebile.
Prof Tumusiime-Mutebile, 72, passed away on Sunday morning at a Nairobi hospital following a long illness.
In his message of comfort, President Kenyatta eulogised the departed Tumusiime-Mutebile as a reformer whose tenure at the helm of the Bank of Uganda ensured his country’s and the region’s economic stability and progress.
