Pressure: KIU rescinds decision to test students for pregnancy ahead of Exams

By An Executive Editor

Kampala International University (KIU) has backtracked on an earlier decision to test students for pregnancy ahead of exams.

The earlier directive was that “female nurses and midwives” were supposed to go to KIU Teaching Hospital for a pregnancy test at a fee of Shs 5, 000 paid to the hospital accounts office.

This decision, however, met a lot of criticism.

Now, the latest coming is that the decision has been dropped.
