Prime suspect, driver arrested over Bukwo CAO’s murder

A prime suspect in the weekend murder of the acting Chief Administrative Officer – Bukwo, Charles Robert Ogwang, has been arrested by a joint security team.
Well-placed sources say the suspect (name withheld for now) was found hiding near the bush at Kiryowa, Gombe along the Kampala-Bombo Road, where Ogwang was killed. Also arrested is his driver, Eric Chemusto, 23.
Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga confirmed the arrests Monday.
According to Enanga, Ogwang dropped his driver at Liberty Guest House in Kireka. He was to take a bus back to Bukwo. Not much is known whether he actually traveled.
It is after dropping Chemusto that he was killed as drove to Lira.
Although he was rushed to Bombo Military Hospital, he did not make it.
