Rebecca Mukite named as substantive UCC Spokesperson

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has appointed Rebecca Mukite as the Head of Pubic and International Relations Department.
Mukite has been in acting position since the departure of Ibrahim Bbossa to the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
Prior to getting in the role of Head of Public and International Relations in acting capacity, Mukite was the Manager of Public and International Relations.
However, a source tells Kampala Gazette that Mukite has been confirmed as the substantive Head of Public and International Relations/Spokesperson, her previous position (Manager Public and International Relations) advertised.
The position and three others were advertised on November 21, 2023.
Other positions advertised include:
1. Senior Officer Cyber Intelligence
2. Senior Officer Estates Management
3. Head of Procurement and Disposal
