RETIREMENT: AIGP Byakagaba out, two more Police Directors set to exit
The police’s director, AIGP Abbas Byakagaba, Counter Terrorism, has retired from the Police Force.
Byakagaba handed over the office to his deputy SCP, Frank Mwesigwa.
Highly placed sources say two more Police Directors (AIGPs) are set to retire.
These are: AIGP Joseph Mugisa (Fire and Rescue Services) and AIGP Erasmus Twaruhukwa (Legal Services).
Others at the exit door include SCP Geoffrey Musana and ACP John Peter Ematu.
