Road Accident: Graduand, his father die on the way to UCU for graduation ceremony

A graduand of Uganda Christian University (UCU) has this morning died in an accident at Kamonkoli along the Mbale-Tirinyi highway.
The incident happened at 5am. Alex Khauka, 24, who was due to receive his academic degree died on the spot.
His father, Siraj Gidudu, 50, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mbale regional referral hospital.
An eyewitness says that the deceased were driving a Toyota Noah registration number UAY 740K when they knocked a stationery truck registration number UAS 427P.
The incident also left Barbara Mukoya, 25, and Ketty Wegosasa, 40, injured and admitted at Mbale hospital.
Traffic and Road Safety Spokesperson Faridah Nampiima says that the bodies are at Mbale city mortuary pending postmortem.
