The Rotary community is mourning the passing of Rtn. Henry Nsamba.
Nsamba died at the weekend after he collapsed during the Rotary 5-Aside Tournament in Kampala on Saturday.
The Rotary 5-Aside Tournament is an annual fundraising football event that raises funds for the community. It also serves as an excellent business networking opportunity, bringing together local business, professional, and community leaders. He had completed a friendly match and was awaiting the next fixture when he collapsed. Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to a nearby facility, he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
“This tragic loss has deeply affected the entire Rotary family. Rotary District 9213 extends heartfelt condolences to his family, the Rotary Club of Kampala Kawempe, and the wider Rotary and Rotaract community. As we grieve, we also honor a life committed to service and fellowship. We call on the Rotary community to keep his loved ones in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” the Rotary Club of Kampala Kawempe said in a statement on Sunday.
