Senior varsity lecturer collapses to death while buying groceries

Traders and customers at the Lira Main Market were last evening left in shock, after a shopper dropped dead shortly after picking groceries and putting in the car.
The deceased has been identified as Alex Chono-Oryang.
Chono-Oryang was a senior lecturer at Lira University.
“As the Lira University Community, we are devastated. But we mourn with the hope that God has received him in His bossom and that his good good deeds will follow him to eternity. Rest in Peace Alex Chono,” a senior official of the University said in a WhatsApp message.
