A prominent bar and nightclub in Kampala has announced a shut-down.

The Management of Gabz Lounge formerly Gabiro said Saturday that its operation will cease with effect from January 15, 2024.

Gabz was known for a good party on Thursdays, spiced by students of Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

However, the management says: “It is with a heavy heart that we wish to inform you and the general public that Gabz Lounge will close down with effect from the 15th Jan 2024. This has not been an easy decision to make, but one which will serve us and the rest of our stakeholders and well wishers’ best interests.”
