Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has described fallen businessman, Apollo Nyegamehe alias Aponye as a diligent and energetic businessman.

Aponye died last evening in a car crash in Ntungamo on his way to Kabale.

In a tweet Friday morning, Gen. Muhoozi said: “I am greatly saddened to hear about the tragic death of our friend and supporter Apollo Nyegamehe aka Aponye.”

He added: I first got to know Aponye in South Sudan while we were deployed there.

“He was a diligent and energetic business man. We shall all miss him. May his soul rest in peace,” the four-star General said.
