What a giant of a man! What a brain! What a servant! 
Speak of economic prowess, of innate stability, of academic brilliance, of financial expertise, of gallant endurance, here is the man, Prof. Muteebile, ranked among the top. 
Thank you for living big, for serving broadly, and for fully using your God-given potential to bring the economy of this country to this extent. 
Prof. Emmanuel Muteebile was a rare breed! It is evident that because of him, Uganda’s economy survived a crash, World Bank and IMF gained a lot, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development benefited much, UK Department for International Development grew from strength to strength, UNDP and ADB profited. His knowledge and expertise have strongly impacted many financial institutes and countries. 
Thank you Makerere, Durham and Oxford Universities for seasoning this genius into such an accomplished economist from whose talents and acuity Uganda and many other nations have greatly benefited. 
Rest in power! – another rare giant of the land, a peerless economist, a polished gem of the ‘Pearl of Africa’, a Mukiga kashushu, the dearest of many, a true Governor – Prof. Emmy T. Muteebile!
