In a poll tweeted at about 10pm last evening, UPDF Commander Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba said:

By 12am, more tweeters (nearing 2,000) thought that Gen. Muhoozi should not contest.

But for some time now, his supporters have been pushing the idea that he contests for Presidency in the 2026 presidential elections.

The 3-star General is yet to come out publicly to announce his bid.

In an earlier tweet, Gen. Muhoozi said: “…we have taken over the country! We will not stop until we are in complete control!”
