Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) has announced a price reduction on one of its iconic beer brands, Pilsner Lager.
Pilsner is a premium beer. In 2023, it accounted for huge sales among Guinness, Bell, and Tusker Lite. As such, UBL posted a 12% growth.
During a media engagement at its plant in Luzira on Monday, UBL announced a drop in the price of Pilsner from Shs 3,200 to Shs 3,000.
UBL told the media that the cut followed customer feedback.
