Veteran scribe, Odongtho, starts work as OPM’s Head of Communication amidst corruption scandals at the Twin Tower

Veteran journalist, Charles Odongtho, has formally started work as the Head of Communications at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).

Odongtho replaces Julius Mucungzui who quit recently, and moved to Addis Ababa for greener pastures. Mucunguzi currently works as the UnderSecretary-General for Public Relations and Engagement(PURE) at The Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) in Ethiopia.
One of Odongtho’s latest assignments came yesterday when the Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja, was inspecting Karuma hydropower project  in Kiryandongo District.

Odongtho’s tenure begins amidst mothers of scandals at the Twin Tower with the latest being Shs 9.6 billion reportedly spent on training youth on how to drink coffee.
