Sanyu FM has added another staff member from Next Media to its team, hiring Viana Indi just days after recruiting digital marketer Edwin Danze.
Indi becomes the second employee to join the Kampala-based radio station from Next Media in less than a week, in what appears to be a growing talent shift between the two media houses. Viana had stints with Next Radio and NBS TV.
Earlier, Sanyu FM unveiled Edwin Danze, a digital marketer who joined the station barely two weeks after leaving Next Media.

Sources familiar with the developments say the recruitment drive is being spearheaded by Sanyu FM’s General Manager, Pamela Adongo.
Adongo previously held a senior position at Next Media before joining Sanyu FM, and insiders suggest her experience and connections within the industry are influencing the recent hires.
The latest moves signal a continued reshuffle within Uganda’s media industry as organisations compete for experienced talent.
