Results for the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) will be released this Friday, January 30, 2026, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed.
A total of 817,885 candidates registered and sat for the examinations in November 2025. The exams commenced on November 3, 2025, and were conducted across 16,140 examination centres countrywide.
According to UNEB, the 2025 PLE candidature represents a 2.5 percent increase compared to 2024, with female candidates outnumbering males.
UNEB officials on Wednesday met the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataaha Museveni, to brief her on the progress of the marking and compilation of results. Following the meeting, Friday, January 30, 2026, was confirmed as the official release date.
The results will be released at State House, Nakasero, Kampala.
