The police Kayunga have this afternoon intercepted an ambulance registration number UBA 564P on its way to Kayunga town.

The Ambulance, the police say, belongs to Rubaga South Member of Parliament Aloysious Mukasa.

Police sources say that following an intelligence, efforts to stop the ambulance at checkpoints proved futile as it refused to stop.

However, finally, it was intercepted at Ntenjeru Trading Centre along the Kayunga-Bbale road.

Four people were found in the ambulance and arrested.

They are currently being held at the Central Police Station, Kayunga for misusing a gazette vehicle, doing acts likely to spread the Covid and aiding suspects’ escape.
