The Police are probing the circumstances under which Dr. Rukia Abura, a third-year resident in the Department of Anesthesia, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), died.

Her body was retrieved this morning from her residence.

The University Dead confirmed the incident in a brief statement. 

“The Dean of students Mbarara University of Science and Technology announces the untimely death of Dr. Rukia Abura, a III-year-resident in the Department of Anesthesia, Faculty of Medicine,” reads the statement. 

Not much is at this point known about her death, as the police are yet to issue a formal communication.
