It’s Official: Speaker Anita Among joins NRM

The Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda, Anita Among, has formally joined the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
She was formerly a member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) when she sided with the ruling party nearly 10 years ago.
On Saturday, Among officially registered as a member of the NRM. This was at Apopong in Bukedea.
Her registration was confirmed by the NRM Vice Chairman Eastern, Mike Mukula.
The NRM is currently updating its register across the country in a nationwide exercise.
