A media action report by the BBC has ranked Voice of Lango FM LTD as the most-listened-to radio station in Mid north.
Second to them was Unity FM, while Devine FM came in 3rd with 14% and 10%, respectively, compared to Voice of Lango’s 19%.
The national survey carried out last year found Voice of Lango FM to be the “most popular radio station in Mid north as of February 2024.”
The station broadcasts on 88.0 and 100.4.
Voice of Lango FM Station Manager, Elvis Ajwika, had this to say in a statement Wednesday:
I am delighted with a very warm heart to Inform all of you that Voice of Lango FM has been ranked as the most popular radio station in Mid North(Lango Sub-region) according to the latest survey report released by BBC Media Action titled Uganda Media Landscape Report February 2024.
According to this report, Voice of Lango FM was ranked at position number one with 19%, Unity FM came distanced second at 14% meanwhile Divine FM came at number three with 10℅ in Lango Sub region.
We welcome this report with a lot of excitement and humility but also commend our listeners and clients for the trust they have bestowed onto us for the years we have been in operation.
