Today, during Bunyoro subregion PLU thanksgiving giving at Booma Grounds in Hoima City, leaders and stakeholders in the region have petitioned the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) and SPA/SO Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba through the National Vice Chairman of PLU, Chairman Nuwagira Michael Kaguta, aka Toyota, for a public university in Bunyoro sub region.

Emphasizing the need for a public university, the Lord Mayor of Hoima City noted that Bunyoro people need education for their natives so that locals can benefit from the skilled labor opportunities in the oil, airport, and stadium all under construction.

The leaders also noted that land grabbing has become a trend in Bunyoro. 

“Majority land grabbers disguise themselves in UPDF uniforms, hence scaring natives. This has made people homeless, hence developing negative attitudes toward NRM and Mzee Museveni,” they noted.
They requested urgent intervention by the corruption fighter, CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, on these land grabbers.

People appreciated Chairman Toyota for his resilience and hard work in promoting PLU and Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

They commended Chairman Toyota for working with everyone irrespective of age, sex, religion, and tribe, an act that has inspired many Ugandans to love and support Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
They pledged to support PLU and Gen. MK in all the upcoming missions.
