Client claims Equity Bank ATM disbursed money less by Shs 50, 000 as “is our money safe” concern grows among customers

A client of Equity Bank has claimed that while seeking a service at one of the bank’s branches, the ATM disbursed less money by Shs 50, 000.

This matter came as customers continued to battle the bank over fraud.

The bank has since issued a statement. However, the comment section of the post on X is flooded with all sorts of concerns, with others saying they have withdrawn all their savings with the bank.

Meanwhile, anxiety amongst the bank’s customers continues to grow with concerns about “is our money safe?” greeting every post on Equity Bank’s social media pages.
