The police is Fort Portal are investigating a case of kidnap reported Vide Ref 03/20/01/22.

According to facts available, Bridget Mbambu, 23, a nurse and resident of Mugoma, Butebe Ward in Northern Division, was kidnapped by masked men (one armed with a rifle).

Her neighbors say that her kidnappers disguised as patients and needed an emergency attention.

However, when she opened the door, she was grabbed.

“She screamed, Oh Yesu Naffa Munyambe,” Mbambu’s neighbor told police in a statement.

The motive of Mbambu’s captors remain unknown given that they did not take anything from her clinic.

The police say the matter is under probe.
