The territorial police of Kayunga District are investigating circumstances under which workers at Lushaka Petrol station were robbed of money worth one million four hundred thousand shillings by unknown people. This incident occurred on the 01/11/2024 at around 0200 hrs, and it took place at Lashaka Petrol Station, Kisaba village, Kayunga subcounty in Kayunga district.

It’s alleged that on November 1, 2024, at around 0200/c, unknown men armed with pangas attacked the workers at Lushaka Petrol station, tied them, and scared them to show the robbers where money is kept. The robbers later broke the store and robbed cash 1,400,000/= (one million four hundred thousand shillings).

The hunt for the suspects is on, said Regional Police Spokesperson SP Hellen Butoto.
