Kenya Polls 2022: William Ruto is President elect

With a few hours to official announcement, Deputy President of Kenya – William Ruto is President elect.
Analyst say it is next to impossible for Raila Odinga to overturn Ruto’s 51.18% (6, 406, 388).
By press time, Odinga had polled 6, 025, 940 (48.14%).
These are out of 12, 517, 145 votes cast, from 253 of 292 Constituencies reporting.
Other candidates – George Wajackoyah and David Waihiga stand at 0.45% and 0.23%.
Kenya’s electoral body is expected to make official announcement this afternoon.
