Martyrs Day: Pilgrim collapses, dies a kilometer away from Namugongo

A pilgrim from West Ankole diocese has this morning collapsed and died at Kyaliwajala, a kilometer or less from the Catholic Shrine.
The deceased has been identified as Jackline Arinaitwe, a peasant from Rubirizi.
Sources say the she and others were heading to the Anglican Shrine in Namugongo.
Arinaitwe was part of the 90 pilgrims from West Ankole diocese.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson says her body is at the city mortuary for postmortem.
Kyaliwajala, where Arinaitwe collapsed and died, the Anglican shrine are about 5 kilometers or less, apart.
