A prominent lawyer has died following a nasty accident that occurred along Pallisa-Kumi Road.

The deceased has been identified as Ramathan Waisswa. Waisswa was the brother of veteran lawyer and politician Abdu Katuntu, the Member of Parliament for Bugweri County.

Waisswa died along with his driver, Ronald Waiswa, on Wednesday.

The lawyer was buried on Thursday. Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, attended the burial ceremony in Bugweri.
