Kampala, Uganda – Phaneroo Ministries is set to host the 5th edition of the Global Inter- University Conference on Saturday, 14th November 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m, an annual gathering that continues to transform the lives of young people from institutions of higher learning across Uganda and beyond.
The conference brings together students from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools, and specialized training institutes for a life-changing experience centered on spiritual growth, leadership, personal development, and purpose. Now in its fifth year, GIC has become a defining platform for empowering young men and women with biblical principles and practical life skills to navigate an increasingly dynamic world. Past editions have produced testimonies of healing, academic and financial breakthroughs, restored hope, and what attendees describe as direct encounters with God.
“We believe that this generation carries tremendous potential to transform nations,” said Apostle Grace Lubega, Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries, at last year’s conference. “The Global Inter-University Conference exists to raise young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and prepared to lead with excellence in every sphere of society. Beyond the spiritual experience, the conference is committed to developing well-rounded young professionals. Participants will benefit from counselling sessions as well as valuable networking and career opportunities through partnerships with leading corporate organizations. This year’s conference will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Apostle Grace Lubega, globally acclaimed leadership coach and author Dr. Cindy Trimm, and Apostle Felix Okoh of House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg.
The event will also feature worship and ministry from renowned Zambian gospel artiste Pompi, alongside several celebrated Ugandan gospel ministers. GIC’s mission extends past the spiritual experience.
Participants will have access to professional counselling, corporate networking, and career-building opportunities through Phaneroo’s partnerships with leading organizations. A student talent showcase spanning music, dance, and drama will also return this year, with prizes for standout performers.
Comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place and all the necessary permissions from the relevant authorities have been obtained. Phaneroo Ministries International is working closely with security agencies and partners to provide a secure environment for all attendees. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site at Phaneroo Grounds, Naguru.
