Target: URA hunting down Shs 4 trillion before 2022/23 FY closes

In a bid to hit its target for the 2022/2023 Financial Year, the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) is hunting down Shs 4.1 trillion.
By the time of filing this story, the Kampala Gazette had it on good record that the taxman had already secured Shs 21.4 trillion.
This means that the URA has until June 30, 2023 to collect Shs 4.1 trillion.
During the launch of the mpa e-receipt yange campaign recently, URA Commissioner General, John Musinguzi was confident of hitting the target.
